Single Family Homes, Houses, Condos, Townhomes, Townhouses, Investment Properties, Land and Real Estate in Clifton, Virginia
Clifton Virginia is most noted for the fact that it is far less built up. This was managed due to worries that overdevelopment would be environmentally damaging to the nearby Occoquan Reservoir.
The southern area homes mostly sit on a minimum of one home per five acre parcel of land. This was based on an ordinance enacted in the late 1907′s noting this minimum requirement assuming the land had not been previously divided. Visiting the northern area you will find largely equestrian areas.
We love the Clifton area because it’s an older neighborhood and an Incorporated Town back in 1902. The history is so wonderful that the U.S. Department of Interior declared it a National Historic District back in 1984.
